None of that voodoo here - I bought it so the amp isn't sitting on the carpet. The amp is so heavy that is sinks kinda low in the carpet and that will impede the ventilation from the bottom (it's Class A and runs hot). I chose to spend the some dough on a granite slab as it seemed kinda cheesy to put this amp on a piece of playwood, though the plywood would be every bit as effective...
