I work at a local music store in Austin, TX called Music Makers (which is my day job when I am not engineering) and to my surprise Peter Reardon of Shadow Hills stopped in to purchase a rack, which we did not have in stock, not to my surprise haha.

I just wanted to tell everyone how awesome he was in person and I felt like a total nerd when talking to him. He is a super nice guy and I gave him my card so that he/his secretary could contact me about trying out some gear of his. I have been in sessions with his compressors but never his pre's, and I am VERY interested in purchasing some.

It isn't everyday that a big name in the recording industry just shows up to your store, and even more rare for that person to be a down to earth cool guy.
