thankyou very much. I noticed that about the Nord too, it does have a digital sound, but for some reason it doesn't hurt my ears like the soft synths. Perhaps it's all about the D/As in the Nord???

Which then causes me to wonder about just getting a better D/A to run soft synths through, but I could be wrong. It might just make them brighter. Yikes! I'm not after brighter/crispier.....I want warmth/fattness.
