Excuse me for barging in with a somewhat profane question, but how capable is the Nagra SD as a music player? Your posting and the PDF-manual indicate it has basic playback functionality. As it supports SDXC, it will be possible to equip the device with large storage capacity. Two specific questions I wonder about are:
- Can it play wav and mp3-files uploaded from the computer (i.e. not actually recorded by the Nagra SD itself), including variable bit-rate mp3?
- When it has played one file, will it automatically continue with the next file in the folder?
(My own recording needs are rather modest and not on the professional level of this forum, but I have come to appreciate my battered Sony PCM-M10 as a music player, and I was wondering if the Nagra SD could be a recorder-upgrade that would still allow me to use it as a player as well.)
