well this guy who has it is kind of clueless, he did'nt even know to pronounce NEVE "nehveee" he said. he knows that it is worth alot but not how much. he is also a friend and i would want to pay a fair price, but at the same time i would rather pay a "lower end" fair price. $4000 maybe?

do you own or have you used an STC-8? how does it compare to the NEVE or the Focusrite?

i am looking for something to put on the 2 bus. i do kind of like the idea of some warmth along with the comp/limeting. [i use a PTHD DAW with a HEDD for my main AD/DA]
