The convertors are great - comparable better than/worse than - I don't know. You'll get varied responses. They're in the same league.
The DSP engine runs their own, at this point, plugins - which are top of the line. To date they run not inside the DAW, but rather like outboard. This is being adressed very soon, as I understand it, to be fixed to run inside your application.
I would have thought that with a handle like "dirtyhalo" you would've been a little familar with them . . .
