That's a nice workaround but not as good as having it on the same track.
What if you wanted to add 3 other plugins to the sound?
You have to have them on both tracks?
What if they needed to react together? Like a compressor or a dynamic filter?
You'd need to buss them. Not as elegant IMHO.
And what if you wanted it to crossfade to a filter, then to a chorus, then a flanger and then back to a filter?
