Does anyone think that a grill cloth can effect the recorded sound qualities of a Guitar cabinet?
I currently use a Carvin legacy 4x12 cab, which has a open wired cab face.
Ive always noticed that no matter what head this cab is recorded with, it always has a distinct "brighter, aggressive mids". Do you guys think alot of it is because the open face of the cab?
Does anyone or has anyone used this cab and applied a normal "grill cloth" on it and heard it it changed its recording qualities?
