As far as the samples go, there weren't any real surprises to me. I didn't know about the 49 capsule, so I wasn't sure what to expect with that. Typically, I like the sound of the 12 and the 67 on almost anything. I think the 251 brings out the articulation I like in cymbals. The male voice sounded good on the 47, too.
The acoustic guitar was a mixed bag. In my own personal samples, I liked the 47, the 67, and the 251 the best. Here I thought the 251 was best, and the 67 sounded kind of muddy and distorted. Could be down to exact placement as obviously even an inch can make a very noticeable difference around the soundhole.
The piano was subtle, I didn't really pick a winner there. They all sounded OK to me.
