I have 14 GIK Acoustics 244's -
http:///www.gikacoustics.com - in my room and am currently planning to add a few more. It'd be easy enough to DIY these things to save about half of the cost but being in NYC both my time and work space are limited (and the fact that I don't have all the necessary tools would wipe out the savings too) so it just made sense for me to get something that was "off the shelf". Anyway - the GIK stuff is relatively inexpensive, decently made, and in my experience pretty effective (I initially had a bump up at 200-400Hz at listening position that hanging them did a lot to cure).
