Man, gotta love relativity! I like G because of the LACK of air. With his voices natural timber, mic G really brings out the best qualities of the singer. Mic H doesn't sound bad, just less in your face(or maybe thats the way he sang the take) I have to say though-SUPER COOL SOUNDING VOCALIST! I love the raspy tone! The song itself doesn't hit me like the singers natural voice does though-but then again this is about the mics. Relative to the samples regardless of anything- Im lovin G!
Its funny, g gets worse when you play h BECAUSE you notice the drastic difference in the highs. Once you get over wanting a full spectrum sound, G has a magic H doesn't. Sadly its hard for me to tell the quality because I like the tonality of the singer so much-he'd sound great through a freakin camcorder mic! Im a firm believer in if the performance and musicians are good, the equipment is almost inconsequential(-of course not in regards to cinema or high def projects) Ill take a behringer pre and a phenomenal player over a 1073 and a decent one anyday. Listening to this just makes me wish I could sing......
