I'm not a technically knowledgeable person about reverb mechanics, so I'm asking this out of curiosity and how I perceive things, so I'm just gonna splurt it:
When it comes to reverb, is there close relation to distortion in some ways? I guess when I'm listening to big verbs with high decay times it makes me wonder that because at times a big, wet verb can have some distortion-type characteristics.
Just cause I know how to use em' doesn't mean I know all the technical things behind them :D.
And perhaps distortion isn't the right word but I'm sure Sean or someone will pinpoint what I'm trying to describe.
