| Is there a hole?
Hi Guys,
I am pretty content with my set-up - can you see something that I would really benefit from? I am thinking a 2-bus compressor might be the next purchase. I do it all here - TV, film composing, mixing, pop, rock, acoustic, etc. Mostly one track at a time, not a lot of live drums.
Full floated pro designed/built control/live room - so acoustics taken care of. This was super important to me so I did it right.
Monitors - Dynaudio 6a's, NS10's powered by Bryston amp
Monitoring - Cranesong Avocet
Mics, U67, (2) U87 (matched vintage), tlm103, (2) 414TL II, (1) Geffell 930, (1) royer 121, sm 58,57, c1, d6,604,earthworks drum kit.
Pre's - TG2, Germanium, 1272, (5) BAE 312, one 512c
Comp (etc) 2 Distressors w 1176 mod, Atomic Sqeezebox, SPL de-esser, Pod Pro. Dangerous 2 bus
A/D - Lavry gold MK 3
Recorder : Pro Tools HD 3 - with all plugs - Pro control surface
I mean I could get more flavors of stuff, but I get so many great basic sounds, I think I am in a good place.
Thanks!
