The new 18 watt 1974 combos just don't have it. I've had the chance to play through some authentic 18 watt combos. A 1958 2x10 and a 1973 2x12. They kill the reissue. I heard the JTM100 stack and I must say, it sounds pretty fricken good. Don't know what a real JTM100 sounds like, though. So take that with a grain of salt. I do think their basket weave cabinets sound formidable. I've owned many basket weaves with pre rolas and the main difference is, the old ones sound warmer, more soulful.
