OTOH they are generally a damn sight more honest than tech companies that make their profits by facilitating distribution of stolen content and engage in scams like "cloud based" services where the customer has to pay for access to his own data. Or where they store a customer's stolen content, charge the customer for access, and don't split the profit with the actual content owner. |
