You have the right man for the job on this thread... Jens can help you with any pressure based absorber you may need.

What are the dimensions of your room? - If your rear wall is closer than 3 meters or 10 feet, I would recommend a PRD or absorption only. - You can use reflective material behind the speakers to create the effect of having ambiance in the room, if it is small & extensively trapped - similar to the NE approach.
