I too scored well on the last hearing test I did. However, I played big band jazz for 4 yrs as a trombonist. And sitting in front of a horn section my hearing got affected somewhat and I now have a constant hiss going on which is audible when there's not much sound/noise around. Not too distracting but definitely there.
What does worry me more is, that after a 2 week infection which completely clogged my ear 6 months ago, my left ear now responds weirdly to low freq sound. It's like the whole ear reacts / gets upset to certain low freq sound like somewhere in the 80Hz range. i whish I knew what that was...
