nope. sounds nothing like tape. But useful nevertheless. It does generate added harmonics when u play with the feedback. Overall, I'm not convinced about it's sound in regards to emulating tape. However, it does have an extremely strong effect on the source and would be great for blending and adding a little "thickness"/body to thin instruments like a ukelele perharps. Overall, I'm pleased with the result wether or not it emulates tape doesn't really matter as it's a free plugin and does wonders in the delay fx department.
Great for rounding out overly bright sources. Cool trick thanks for reviving it.
