looks vs. sound absorbtion (there's a comprimise there) although we also thought about the holes on the sides but we were too aheadi n the ball game to take that step.

On a 4 inch panel it will give you something like 50% more absorption if the sides are open..
But with all that said those panels look and I am sure will work great for you.. Great work!!!
Are you going to do a before and after test?
