****ing Depeche Mode rocks..
luckily i was old enough to rember DM when they were at the peak of their popularity... i was born in 1980.. i didn't appreciate them then.. and in fact became quit the metal head, electronic music hater
everything changed when i heard skinny puppy for the first time... it was a slow process.. but electronic music infected me... and naturally i returned to the 80's and my childhood
the song writing is great... and probably wouldn't be so awe inspiring if today's pop music wasn't such watered down, over marketed and hyped drivel... not to take any wind from DM's sails... just trying to be realistic
but ****... i really appreciate their music... 20 years later... can you still consider it pop music? anyway... i'm rambling.. yay jug wine!
i'd like to say **** you to everyone picking more than 1 DM song... and thank you.. because i actually am enjoying listening to other's favorites... some i don't even remember!
and in the spirit of ignoring the rules of 1 favorite... i'm going to post a mother****ing remake
