Evanna, if you'd like to try it in another 6386 based limiter, I'd stick one in my GE BA-9B - I've got two, one is currently being modded by CHarlie Brewer - the other has been modded to include input and output level controls as wellas a VU meter. Assuming that the two units sound functionally identical, it may show something to replace the 6386 in one of the units with the T-Bar mod.
