I mix all the time, all day long, and sometimes i'd love an AUTO-EQ button that would make me do the job faster, providing a good starting curve that i can then tweak to my liking.

Izotope makes a plug-in called 'Alloy' that looks like it might give you the eq curves and starting points that you're looking for.
