Okay, wel i'm wondering if it's wronge to put a compressor on the MAIN output off your ''mixer'' (Master chanel) and give it a ratio off 2:1 a 2Db output volume and a slow attack with mid release ?.
I've been reading that certain peopel say no you have to compress your tracks individualy.... others say no just level your tracks and put a compress on the master channel. Wel i've put compressors on channels where i find it needed 2 and then on the MAIN....to my surprise it gave me the result wich i whas looking for
; Full, living and more exciting instead off thin,boring and very separate. None the less taking in acount that it doesn't start to sound muddy i often have a view in mind off how i wanting my sounds to be.
There is no standard when it gets to mastering, this is something i already noticed but there is so mutch you can do wronge wich you won't realise.
