i think you explained it perfect its just im doing something wrong.

Click on track #2. Now it is the active track. It should be highlighted grey now.
On the channel strip the 2nd box above the fader. Click and hold it for a sec. It will pop up and you will have 2 options input 1 or 2 you will select 2. It takes a second to get the hang of it.

Here is another way you can do it
Select create new track.
In the pop window you will select the following options
Number:2
Type: audio
Format: mono
Check the ascending box (doing this automatically assigns the inputs in order)
Check the input monitoring box
Check the record enable box
Output: 1&2

Either way should work.

Edit: Awesome, just read you post. 2 tracks for stereo. Dunno if the pro one is stereo, never owned one. Only the prophet 600. If I recall correct that was stereo outs.
