My limited knowledge tells me the Fast Track Pro is the better choice, but why does the Audiophile cost a bit more? I am confused and trying to decide which one to get... or do you have any recommendations for something else in that price range?

I am looking for something that will give me MIDI connectivity on either a desktop or a laptop (depending on the situation,) and I need the audio to be low latency for recording and VSTi response.
