Sadly, Mackie didn't do a good job protecting their IP, and the lawsuit was effectively a stalemate with no result for Mackie... The judge insinuated Mackie had a good case, but he couldn't rule in their favour and criticised Mackie for not being more thorough in their IP protection...

Sad but true... If Mackie had done a better job at protecting their designs it would have done us all a favour and bankrupted Ulli-the-unscrupulous.
