Well, you've got a couple good mics there...
I think if you got an API 512c in a lunchbox you would be a lot better off.... you'll then have the option of putting a bunch of different flavors of pre's in the rack at a much lower price in the future... In fact, you'll even have enough money left over to buy an SM7 to add to your mic collection.
