Yeah, that's good idea. If I get hold of more interesting transformers I will certainly do that. When I have tried the UTC LS-30, I would like to try out some API, Jensen, Marinair, Sowter and Lundahl trannies aswell. (tho I'm not filthy rich) :-)
And I need to know more about how the circuitdesign of the micpre affects the performance of the transformers.
Good ol' trial and error will be my way of testing the design.
