To owners of both compressors, or MLA2 owner.

I've a 8900 that I love, but I could invenst on some other change during next days (C12VR to VM1) so...

Considering I record soul and jazz music mainly, I actually own a (lovely) GML 8900. You'd change it with a Maselec MLA2? I use the 8900 mainly to track voices, then for drums tracking or mixbus or drumsbus moderate compression. I never used the Maselec, but I could change it with my 8900, investing also in the change of a C12VR (mine) to a Brauner VM1 (testing this w-end).
