Hey all. I've been digging up info on the differences between these two and know that the XL II has a bit of a HF rise in its response compared to the XLS. What I'm wondering is how big of a difference were talking about here and does it make a significant impact on which you'd choose for specific applications. I'm primarily looking for a matched pair to cover drum OH, piano, ac gtr, and vocal duties.

Anybody have some real world experiences/comparisons/preferences using both types and which you'd choose to own a pair of??
