pffft
That's DEFINITELY not necessary unless you're gunning for that style of music. Sure, it's great for commercial deadmau5 electro, dnb, or big-room techno and trance...but it's not what we're all looking for in many forms of music. Deep house & techno, microhouse, dubstep, juke...no, don't give me fast, aggressive midrange kicks...that's the last thing I want sometimes. I want blunt, fat, deep, round kicks quite often, and from what I've heard the mbase11 can do that well...along with cutting ones.
I don't own one though...but don't go assuming we all want punchy midrange kicks. |
All I can say is I've tried them all in mixes and some work better and some don't work at all and don't take processing well so go figure. If you're aiming for one blurry mess of a mix everytyhing will do anyway, that's not the hard part.
