Karloff, did you (or anyone else here) wind up trying the Avant CV-28?
I have one Groove Tubes AM40 which I'm fond of, and always wanted to track down an omni capsule for it. Has anyone tried the Avant capsules in older GT or Alesis mics of the same make? It looks like the same mic, but I haven't gotten to peek under the hood...
