All these threads saying "will PT9 work with my...." should be answered by "does your ..... work? if so, then yes".
It'll get the same performance as whatever you're using now - so if you can get a 64 sample buffer size on your presonus now, you'll manage that with PT9. |
Well said, and we're jolly excited because of the 32 channel I/O capability which is spot on for our GS-R24 which has 32 channels of I/O.
There is one aspect to take into consideration though and that's MIDI control, which, from the testing we have done, up to now (and maybe is the same in PT9 - not sure) has required a specific command set requiring translation from our standard MIDI output from ZED-R16.
As you say though, if you have an ASIO or Coreaudio compliant device, then the audio side of things will "work".
