Hi,

I am bringing back this JJOS thread. Rewind it. I got out a mpc1000 that I did not really bond with at first. Anyways now it is back in the rack and I am loving it. I want it to do what I do with recycle on my mac, if this box could just do that one trick, edit the start and end points of the individual slices quickly, and save that program quick, it would possibly be the greatest thing ever.

If I get the JJOS 4.99 will it do the steinberg recycle thing where it chops a loop and you get it on 16 or more pads ?? That's what I really want at the moment. Is there any disadvantage to doing that trick in 4.99 as opposed to XL ?

I would love to kit it up for real but I don't cant to pony up 150 bucks for it yet.

Also is there any way to make the pads better without buying new pads ? I was reading about it once and somebody said you could open it up and put tape on the sensors.
