AUx's for me too.
How I've always set up my mixers was to have my aux's routed into inputs of my interface and keep all my gear hooked up to the mixer. I 've got 3 synths, two are in stereo and one is mono, along with mics, samplers, etc. are all plugged into the mixer, and then route whatever I'm using to whatever input I want through an aux. No plugging and unplugging.
