It didn't
prove anything. There will never be "proof" that analog mixing is better than digital or vice versa, and the test certainly didn't prove that the more expensive mixers are a sham. People will always have their preferences, and there are plenty of people who prefer digital mixing, plenty who prefer analog, plenty who prefer digital mixing only on certain platform, people who prefer analog mixing only on certain consoles, people who are happy to mix on anything...just find out what works best for you and don't worry about "proving" anything because you never will.
