Nebula consoles and tape programs are mostly pure placebo imo. it messes with phase more than anything. In the ABX with the VBC and Slate Neve, the VBC basically did a whole lot of nothing which is why the Nebula freaks preferred its punchy transience, because the audio was basically untouched. Slate's neve sounds more like a Neve to me. A lot of the Nebula eqs are really nice though. The worse of all is that Nebula is a utter pain in the ass to work with; insane latency and gobbles up memory like no tomorrow. Unusable unless you have hours to render a bunch of audio tracks and I got better things to spend my time on.
