I'm a little late to this thread and have read a lot but I'm curious about your set up. How are you utilizing 16 tracks of the zed with ptle? Aren't you limited to 8 in adat and an 003 or 002? Can you run 8 in adat plus 2 channels into spdif? Sounds like you've worked out a great system and I'm dying to know the secret. It might justify me getting one of these someday.
