The following doesn't apply in this case, but I've also had it in the past that a UPC/EAN was submited to me without the last (check) digit. There's a calculator at UPC Database: Check Digit Calculator so if there's doubt that the number is complete/correct, enter the full code without the last digit and match the generated check digit with your last digit. |
Thanks for this! The CD manufacturing side of my company issues bar codes and also accepts bar codes from clients to put in their artwork. This is a good way to check the validity of the latter.
