I don't like this aspect of the industry. I respect some of the people who work for it but overall I find it very demoralizing to see that this is what feeds the general public. There are other ways that won't make you filthy rich but it will let you be honest with your art and actually make a living.
As for this Evan guy... Dunno, he looks, talks and (apparently) thinks like an adolescent schoolkid, wich is worrying for a 27 year old. That probably has a lot to do with why Mr. President didn't show up for the meeting and with the way the guys a WB greeted him like it was some friends 16 year old nephew. It's also might have a lot to do with the way Mr. Child treats him. In my experience if you want to be treated like a serious person you have to look and act like one. Now don't get me wrong: im not talking about wearing a suit. I'm talking about attitide and the kind of things that make others take you seriously. You could see not even the secretary could give a shit about the poor kid. And there I go again calling a 27 year old bloke a "poor kid". Something's not right here.
Somebody here said he has talent. I don't see it anywhere but then again what do I know? His songs make me cringe.
Oh well, coffee break over. Back to work!
