As with everything, change is needed. The rotation needs to be expanded from Top 40 to Top 60. 10 of the 60 should be non commercial and local artists. Even though the mixshows are supposed to handle the non commercial and local artists they often mirror rotation playlists.
Hip hop on rotation radio hasn't always been terrible. it was great up until 1997. non commercial artists shared the top 40 rotation with commercial artists up until about then.
