uggg.... I did it... official Reason v5 owner. I simply couldn't resist after seeing Kong in action. A new DAW is about the last thing I need especially since my studio computer can't even run this until I upgrade the ol' G5.
First version of Reason I've ever used. I know this is a pretty old program at this point and most everyone knows how this thing works... but man.. I'm going to need to do some serious manual reading. It's just soooo unlike a regular DAW... which is good... I think.... I'll mostly be using this in Rewire mode as a big ol' sound module, but I'de still like to get a grasp on it's sequencing capabilities.
Can anyone recommend some good tutorials? Sadly I've come to somewhat rely on tutorial videos for learning the basics of new software and then revert to the manual for more specific problem solving.
I know MacProVideo is coming out with a new Reason 5 series here in couple days I think. I looked at youtube real quick.... there were just so many videos.... most of which were posted by people that are either assuming you already know the basics.. or they're simply not very good at explaining things.
Hopefully this somewhat impulsive purchase will prove itself useful to my workflow.
