IMO Battery is the best thing for Logic.
Battery does not have its own sequencer like Ultrabeat, but in terms of organization, triggering samples and over all usage, its just a better way to go.
I also like Maschine with Logic. There are various pros and cons.
Search the ongoing threads about Maschine. Its really great if you want that hands on feel of a drum machine.
FYI, you can always just rewire Kong into Logic.
