I always known how to zone sample / chops in nnxt...that was a big deal and some former ASR users on another forum pointed it out.
and having access to Recycle -> rex wasnt bad either..just wish Recycle was IN reason ...or record as they have it.
other than that, why dont u guys just chop your samples in a wave editor as slices and load em that way??? why do u have to SLICE in reason? like loading a whole song in reason (to sample) doesnt sound very wise...else get ableton.
as far as results...the instruments in VSTi always appealed more to me, as far back as hypersonic 1...
its just really about what SOUND you going for.
i knew one guy greg/pg13 who was all about his reason, and made regular ass sounds into great productions from their library...so...
but no timestretch, no cutting on the sequencer and so on..really get to me
