I still think it's better to chop samples manually. I load pretty sizable sequences in halion and work backwards from the last note i want (cuts tend to be more precise if you work backwards, especially with polyphonic material). I've never found recycle to give great results without manually adjusting every point, so it's sort of futile. If the reason 5 sampler can snap start/end markers to 0-point crossings it should be pretty simple.
