what is an HDD? I have that same expansion box and the same problem is happening to me. pro tools opens and recognizes the cards (HD3 in my case) but after a minute or so of playing back a session it just crashes the whole system and i have to forcefully shut down my computer!!

Im freaking out here, because my studio is not working because of this!! can somebody please help me figure out a way to make this virtua via 4 pci to pcie expansion box? I got the version that comes with an Atx and 500W PSU

Running 10.6.4 on a mac pro quaD core 3.0Ghz
