hmmm, never on kicks? theres a certain control on the 120x-ds that adds subharmonic delay that i turn all the way down when using it for kicks (forgot which control it is, i dont have the unit here right now) and i only use a tiny bit on an aux send, but it seems to work ok on kicks for my taste. it is not very "tight" though, thats why i only use a tiny bit. i've been looking for that "something else" to give it that extra "punch" x10!
they're hard to come by!
