I had surprisingly good results with a Studio Projects B1!
Since then I've quite a few new mics but haven't tried them yet.
Did a session a month ago and we tried :-
Shure SM7b
AKG 414
AKG Solidtube
Believe it or not we went with the pickup!! They all sounded good with the 414 and SM7b being the favorites but the pickup just sounded better on this occasion.
