Exactly, which isn't necessary and makes our macbooks hot without reason and shortens battery and electronics lifes down.

Have you made a new bug report after their answer? Im thinking into making a new one. I will also try to contact Apogee about this again to try and get them into contacting Apple themselves about the issue.
