NOTHING!!!! I've been mixing with my Twins for a couple of years now and My ns10s have been unplugged since then.
I went next room where the NS10s are the main nearfield because we were mixing this project in 2 rooms at the same time (rush job) and I had a listen to one of session on the yams, I was cutting 3 dbs around 550hrtz and...I couldn't even hear the difference!!!?? it was litteraly guess work! I got so used to the extreme precision of the Twins in the low mids that I forgot not every speakers are like that... i could never go back to mixing on NS10s it's like painting with your eyes closed. a 3db boost or cuto the focal is a big difference, clear and easy to hear, on the ns10s I couldn't even tell...Long Live my Focals !! I just mixed 13 songs on them in 3 days and the label approved all the mixes right away... I'm not bashing them really, I use to mix entirely on them but now that Im used to how precis the focals are in the low mids and details.. my Ns 10s are only here for decoration
